OneShot – Nightingale : Chapada Rain (CIRQ039)

Already returning to the stage of Cirque Du Son’s thirty-ninth act, studio-mage OneShot continues to baffle with his sonic wizardry. Deep in the nightly vortex of exuberant dance, eerily enchanting birdsong-like fragments of sound float through the steaming air. Towering synth-waves carry along heart-pounding beats on meandering grooves, when – like a wicked phoenix from the ashes – a shadowy winged beast of a synth emerges from the thick clouds shrouding the arena.
Pushing and pumping this melodic house epic is spreading wings – further deepening the dark.

Once fully enchanted, the sonic hypnotist takes us on a complementary astral journey of light – this time riding the feathery beat of a different drum. Floating-off into lofty heights atop melodic plateaus and rivers of groove, a manifold sonic landscape unfolds with flickering streams of jazzy funk, pierced by spiky rocks of acid squelching. Breaking the sparkling sun-rays, the vitalizing soft sprinkles of Chapada Rain prismatically refract the sonic beams of dawn, illuminating far into deeply indented escarpments of diverse melodic house and tech vibes. CIRQ039 gives yet another example of OneShot’s rainbow colored spectrum of tasteful creativity and spellbinding talent.
